We value the importance of connecting with the community around us. Through excursions, incursions, and partnerships with local organisations, we help children understand their place in the world — and specifically, their place in the Goldfields.
We support children to be global citizens by embedding social interactions that empower them with the knowledge of how their actions can impact the community and environment. But we start local — because the Goldfields is where our families live, work, and belong.
We celebrate and embrace the diversity that each family brings and are committed to developing our cultural knowledge and building a culturally safe environment for every child and family in our care.

Incursions
We bring the community to us too. Local experts, cultural educators, and community members visit the centre to share their knowledge and stories.
Parent Involvement
Our parent committee governs the centre. Families aren't just welcome here — they're part of how we run.
